Shipping policy


***It is extremely important that you follow my Mailing Instructions to ensure that your keepsake samples arrive to me safely***

Please do not send your last drop of milk, just incase your package gets lost in the mail.

Shipping Address and Instructions will be provided in your Order Confirmation Email.

***I do not list the address online for Safety & Privacy purposes***

Current wait time is approximately 8 - 14 weeks once your keepsake SAMPLE is received.

After you have placed your order you will receive a confirmation email that will contain your Invoice number as well as an address to mail your milk/keepsake sample to.

If you do not see the confirmation email, be sure to check your spam and junk mail as it could be in that folder.  If you still do not see the email please email me at admin@cndboutique.com and I will resend it directly to you.

The turnaround time begins once your breastmilk has been received and checked in (Processed once a week)

Packaging instructions / Amount needed:

BREASTMILK- 1oz 

  • Double or Triple bag your milk into breastmilk storage bags. Do NOT send in containers, they will not be returned to you and also are more likely to leak. Do not send in tupperware.
  • Write your name and invoice # on the OUTSIDE BAG. If leaking occurs, your milk will not change colors from the marker.
  • If you are sending more than one milk be sure to write which milk you would like used for which piece.
  • DO NOT send your “last” milk. There is always the possibility of it getting lost in transit and I am human, mistakes seldom happen, but can happen nonetheless.

Packaging instructions – ASHES - 1/2 to 1 TSP (Leftovers will be mailed back)

  • I use much less than this but always want to ensure I have enough for your pieces. If you don't have that amount send me an email  (admin@cndboutique.com) and we will chat about options.
  • Triple bag the ashes when shipping and seal the bag with tape. Write your INVOICE number and FULL NAME on the bag.
  • Unused ashes will be returned to you with your finished piece(s).
  • PLEASE do not send me the last of your ashes, as mistakes and shipping issues do happen.

FLOWERS 

  • 2-4 Flower pedals (Leftovers will be mailed back)

UMBILICAL CORD 

  • Recommended not to send entire stump, send however much you'd like to send (I will mail back leftovers)

HAIR

  • A Pinky length per piece (preferably 20 strands). Tape hair together at the top of sample to keep it all together and avoid static. If your sending more than one sample, separate and label.
  •  We do not require this much but always prefer to have extra on hand since hair is so unpredictable.
  • Keep in mind that there is no guarantee on the final placement of the hair as it will naturally adjust. 
  • PLEASE do not send me the "last of stands of Hair", as mistakes and shipping issues do happen.

SHIPPING METHODS AND INSTRUCTIONS:

DROP OFF: Calgary, AB Residents can drop off at my CANADA POST PO Box (address listed above)

  • CANADA: Send packages through Canada Post ONLY- Use a SMALL FLAT RATE BOX  or any appropriately sized box will do. Do not send in a regular envelope or bubble mailers. If you use any other courier, Canada post will reject the mail unfortunately as this is their PO Box Policy. 
  • UNITED STATES/OTHER: Send packages through USPS ONLY -SMALL FLAT RATE BOX. Do not send in a regular envelope or bubble mailers.
  • Please do NOT require signature for delivery.
  • Order number, full name and return address MUST be on the package.
  • Make sure you get tracking and keep your receipt.
  • Clove + Daffodil Keepsake Boutique cannot control services outside of my studio; therefore, we are not responsible for inclusions lost en route to the studio and cannot issue refunds on shipping totals.
  • I am not responsible for any lost items in the mail. If it is lost you may send it again

All orders from outside of Canada – Shipping

  • USPS Only
  • You MUST write the following on a note to be included with your breastmilk: “For Therapeutic use only.”
  • You must mark the item as a “gift” on your customs form with a value of $1.
  • Declare the breastmilk as “jewelry making” material on the customs form.
  • Clove + Daffodil Keepsake Boutique is not responsible for any of your countries customs fees for having merchandise imported to your county.  Any additional taxes or fees your country places on your package is your responsibility.



Please remember to NOT send the last of your samples ever!

There is always a possibility that something could happen to your samples in transit.  CLOVE + DAFFODIL KEEPSAKE BOUTIQUE is not, under any circumstances, responsible for loss and/or damage in shipping.  We do not take responsibility for other businesses and their handling such as the Canada Post, FedEX, Purolator, United States Postal Service and other mail carriers, this applies to both receiving your milk as well as mailing of your completed pieces.
